Sure! Here’s a simple and sweet version of the “Lion and the Mouse” story in English:

The Lion and the Mouse

Once upon a time, in a dense forest, a mighty lion was sleeping peacefully under a tree. Suddenly, a little mouse ran over the lion’s body, playing and jumping.

The lion woke up with a loud roar and caught the mouse with his big paw.

“How dare you wake me up?” growled the lion. “I will eat you!”

The frightened mouse begged, “Please forgive me, O King! I didn’t mean to wake you. If you let me go, I will surely help you someday.”

The lion laughed loudly. “You? A tiny mouse? Help me? That’s funny!” But being kind-hearted, he let the mouse go.

A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net. He roared and struggled, but the net was strong. Hearing the lion’s cries, the mouse ran to help. With his sharp little teeth, the mouse gnawed at the ropes and set the lion free.

The lion was very grateful. “Thank you, little friend,” he said. “I see now that even small creatures can be big helpers.”

Moral of the Story:

No act of kindness is ever wasted.
